Thai Political Tarot

The ongoing project “Thai Political Tarot”, a deck of Tarot cards narrates stories about local activists who fight for systemic injustice with longstanding resilience, including women and LGBTQ+ activists, indigenous community rights defenders, and pro-democracy movement forefront protestors.

Even as the wave of protests fades in 2025, Thai Political Tarot remains committed to exploring the gaps in our understanding of "politics" beyond elections and parliamentary systems. This project seeks to remind us that ordinary people continue to fight for social justice every day. Over 50 tarot cards have been created, and the final 20 are now in the making. Each card is a visual testament to the ongoing struggles and resilience of those shaping Thailand’s political landscape.
